New office and new upswing at Mazars

Friday, 06 June 2014 12:29
The biggest tax advisory firms are on the move which is proved by the numerous press releases about advisory firms' office and headquarters projects. PwC has just moved in the recently handed over Eiffel Palace office building, the completion of KPMG's new headquarter on Vaci road expected in August, Mazars has committed itself to a new office building. Vivid interest of the enterprises of the advisory sector indicates that it is worth to reconsider strategies related to office area utilization.

Mazars opened its Budapest Office in 1991 and it is one of the biggest tax audit advisories in Hungary. The company opened its office in order to help the settlement of their French clients in East-Central Europe. Since then, Mazars has widened its clientele and is at its clients' service with more than 100 employees. Mazars delivers a wide range of services including internal audit and transaction services, tax and legal services as well as financial and payroll services. Mazars also provides quality service for local subsidiaries of stock exchange-listed, international companies as well as for small and medium-sized enterprises. Currently Mazars is the 5th biggest tax advisory firm in Hungary.

With the joint representation of BNP Paribas Real Estate Hungary and Robertson Hungary after an extensive market research and option analysis Mazars decided to relocate its Budapest office to a new office building. 'The assignment was comprehensive and complex besides reaching favourable leasing conditions we had to fulfil every criteria requested by our client such as easy access and representative office building. As the number of large areas are decreasing finding the most ideal solution for tenants means bigger and bigger challenge and requires diversified selection process which could result in a longer decision making procedure'. – summarised Robert Tilki, managing director at Robertson Hungary.

'We are going to set off the next period with renewed energy and upswing in our new office. Besides the esthetical quality of the selected buildings we put great emphasize on efficiency as well as location. Compared to our former office we accommodate our employees on a smaller area which means significant cost-savings in office rent and additional service charges. The environment of Central Buda and the easy access led to our decision to select Krisztina Palace'. – added Philippe Michalak managing director at Mazars.

The representatives of Krisztina Palace supported the prompt conclusion of the lease negotiations with flexible and professional attitude. The office building owned by Union Investment is located at the foot of the Buda hills on one of the main thoroughfares of the 12th district. Thanks to this location downtown and the motorways can be easily reached. Krisztina Palace is an elegant 'A' category office building satisfying all modern market and technical standards. To comfort the tenants restaurant operates in the building, and various amenities are available in the neighbourhood.

'A relocation is a huge task it requires thoughtful preparation and serious concentration and controlling but it could have a positive effect on the whole company in the long-term. It means a great opportunity to carry out structural modifications within the organization, which increases the effectiveness of the company. Moving in a new office besides the economic advantages means refreshing of the organization. During designing the new office we'll focus on human resource and we'll use the requirements and comments suggested by our colleagues. The colours and units of the newly designed office space will support the quality of the meetings, building relations and the flow of information, the richness of office space will motivate our colleagues and inspire their creativity'. – said Dora Nyerges, HR director at Mazars.
