description of the property
Over the years, the Breitner House, an Art Nouveau corner building on Deák Square (is more than a hundred and ten years old) has been covered in layers of history and physicality. The land and the building on it were purchased in 1910 by Modern & Breitner, one of the largest wholesalers of postal and lining goods in the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
As you enter the office, you are immediately drawn into a vast open space, where full-height, large walls of glass create fascinating reflections and transparent borders. In the corner of the V-shaped space is a meeting room, also with glass walls, but which can be turned milky white with a smart foil for private meetings. Thanks to the glass surfaces and openings, the office has an almost complete panoramic view of the surroundings, with the Lutheran Church, Anker köz and the Basilica as a backdrop. This dissolves the boundaries between inside and outside, making the office part of the pulsating city centre in a visual sense.
